Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan To Reunite For Family Court Mediation Amid Custody War

The nasty divorce battle between Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan is far from over.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the Magic Mike actor's attorney filed a notice to continue a family court mediation appointment that was scheduled for this Tuesday, February 26. He asked for it to be moved to April 29, 2019 at noon, at a Los Angeles Superior Court.
As RadarOnline.com readers recall, a source close to the stars recently revealed that despite their best efforts to keep their divorce proceedings amicable, things have quickly gotten "challenging and emotional."
Tatum, 38, and Dewan, 38, announced their separation in April 2018. The dancer then filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, in October 2018. While they've both moved on with other people since their split, they've continued to share custody of their 5-year-old daughter Everly — and it has not been easy.

"Transitions for Everly during this time were not smooth because Everly did not have a consistent plan and would not know when she would next see her mom or me. I saw that this would frustrate Everly," Tatum wrote in a highly-detailed custody order obtained by RadarOnline.com this January.
Tatum said he and his ex change their daughter's visitation calendar every month, but in order to keep her life as normal as possible, he believes they should create one for the entire year.
"Everly has expressed many times that she wants to know what the schedule is and makes our nanny or I promise that what we say the schedule will be, actually occurs," he continued.
The documents did not clarify what Tatum and Dewan's mediation will be regarding, though fans know the two have yet to reach a settlement in their messy custody agreement.
