Cynthia Bailey’s story that she and her boyfriend “will be getting married” is a desperate attempt to save her job on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.

Bailey made the announcement on Watch What Happens Live, telling Andy Cohen: “We talk about marriage all the time. All the time," but an insider snitched that she’s definitely stretching the truth and the show’s producers know what she’s doing.

“Moving to LA?” the source said, calling Bailey out. “Getting married without an engagement ring?”

According to the insider, “the folks in charge see right through Cynthia. They know that she’s trying to stay on the show and keep her job, but they don’t believe her ‘getting married’ story.”

Bailey claimed that she was going to be splitting her time between the ATL and Los Angeles where Mike Hill worked, but the source slammed her desperation.

“Cynthia knows she has had zero storyline this season and that she is getting close to being fired,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.

“She was making a last-ditch effort to make sure producers wanted her back by saying she’s getting married, but if she’s getting married why doesn’t it just happen? And where is the ring?”

Bailey’s romance with Will Jones crashed and burned on RHOA and her divorce from Peter Thomas left her far away from being a Housewife.

“Cynthia is looking like the one that the show would get rid of,” the source said. “She makes so much money and isn’t worth it.”

Bailey also earned the wrath of NeNe Leakes when she pushed for Bravo execs to bring Kenya Moore back on the show.

“NeNe was furious with Cynthia,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
