New mom Mindy Kaling cheated death after a horrific crash in Los Angeles completely destroyed her car, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The 39-year-old Oceans 8 star, who gave birth to daughter Katherine just a little over a year ago, wasn’t seriously injured in the recent wreck.
And though she was shaken, she seemed more freaked out by adoring fans who rushed her for her selfies and autographs while she waited for a tow truck to arrive.
“When you get in a car accident on Highland and Fourth and your car is totaled, and looky-loos come up and ask to take a photo with you, then you wish you weren’t everyone’s best friend,” the spunky Office star sniffed.
It’s been quite a year for Kaling, who welcomed baby Katherine at the end of December 2017. The new mom has been incredibly guarded about her family, and has yet to reveal who the father is.

But is she keeping quiet because even she is not sure who’s your daddy?
“Mindy doesn’t know who the father is,” a source close to the star claimed to Radar. “Her love life has been all over the place and she can’t quite place the guy to the time of conception,” the source added. “So this is a hot mess.”
