Judge Denies Casey Anthony's Dad's Request to Delay Foreclosure Trial

Tough luck for George and Cindy Anthony.
A judge in Orlando will not delay their foreclosure trial, despite pleas to put it on hold after George’s scary car accident in November.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Casey Anthony’s father appeared to suffer a debilitating seizure while driving down a highway in Central Florida last November, minutes before his car rolled over several times and crossed three lanes of the busy road before finally stopping on the median.
In a recent episode of The Dr. Oz Show, George sported a 14-pound halo to stabilize his spine, while talking about his injuries. His lawyer argued the crash left Caylee’s grandpa such a wreck he shouldn’t participate in the trial, and asked for a delay.
But attorneys for the bank behind the home foreclose countered that if he was strong enough to appear on the celebrity talk show, he’s strong enough for court.
"He clearly is capable of testifying because he's on ‘Dr. Oz,’” the bank’s attorney said, according to news reports. “I have a videotape if you'd like to see it.”
The Anthonys are in foreclosure on their Hopespring Drive home made famous 10 years ago when their granddaughter Caylee disappeared.
George has had a strained relationship with his daughter, since she was acquitted of murder in 2011 for the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee.
While he’s learned to live with his horrific family past, George recently told reporters that he feels his troubled daughter “shouldn’t be alive.”
“She doesn’t need to exist anymore as far as I’m concerned,” George Anthony said of Casey Anthony on The Dr. Oz Show.
