Large quantities of cocaine found in Chris Brown’s five-star $23,000-a-night Paris hotel suite was there “for a party and had nothing to do with me," RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the rap star has told French police.

Authorities raided the rooms last Monday afternoon, following an allegation that he had raped a 24-year-old woman a week earlier.

A legal source in the French capital told RadarOnline.com exclusively: “Chris was completely taken by surprise by the police in his very large suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

“He and two other guys were being taken in for questioning over the attack claims, but the rooms were also searched and cocaine was found.

“Chris had people in for a party on the Sunday night, and it went on all night. He had no responsibility for what people were bringing in.”

Brown also told detectives that he took mild drugs for “medicinal purposes," providing a note from a doctor in America proving this.

Raphael Chiche, Brown’s French lawyer, said his client and two other men being investigated for rape and drug offenses “absolutely deny any wrong doing”.

Chiche said he was pursuing a defamation lawsuit against the complainant, and that there was zero DNA or other forensic evidence proving rape.

“Chris Brown had no sexual relations of any sort with the complainant,” said Chiche, adding his client would continue to cooperate with investigators and “will come back if he has to."

All three suspects are still under investigation on suspicion of aggravated rape and drugs offenses, prosecutors in Paris confirmed Thursday January 24.

A French model, who cannot be named for legal reasons, insists that she was raped by three men including Brown during a drug-fuelled party on the night of January 16.

The alleged ordeal is said to have happened in the rooms at the Mandarin Oriental, where suites can cost more than $25k-a-night.

But following an initial assessment of evidence on Monday and Tuesday this week, an examining magistrate decided to end the initial period of custody without taking the matter further.

According to French law, this does not mean the case is closed, and prosecutors have indicated that they will continue to speak to the alleged victim, and to try and gather more evidence.

Brown denied he had “sexual relations of any sort” with the woman, whom he called a lying “b***h” in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Meanwhile, the rapper is suing his alleged victim — identified by the initials K.M. — in a defamation suit filed yesterday by his lawyer, which accuses the woman of making false accusations against the singer.
