The music world was devastated when XXXTentacion was killed in June 2018 at the age of 20. At the time, he was dealing with accusations of domestic abuse against his pregnant girlfriend but maintained his innocence until his death. Shockingly, secret recordings about his sick confessions have now resurfaced, and it turns out the rapper was hiding various skeletons in his closet after all.

In a terrifying clip obtained by Pitchfork, the "SAD!" singer is heard telling a friend all about a 2016 domestic abuse case involving an ex-girlfriend, whom he believed was cheating on him.

"I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started fu***ng her up bruh. I started fu***ng her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she's scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand," he says, failing to explain exactly how he attacked the woman.

The rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, also admits thoughts of suicide in the scary 27-minute tape. According to the outlet, the recording came from the Miami-Dade County state attorney's office and was considered a confession by police.

Apart from the domestic abuse, the troubled performer also braggs about allegedly stabbing nine people and getting away with it. In the recording he is heard referring to an attack in Deerfield Beach, Florida on January 2016. At the time, news outlets reported that a black man with tattoos on his face was seen swinging a knife around during a beach fight.

"I'm on Miami New Times for stabbing, how many people they put in the news? They said three, it was eight," XXXTentacion is heard saying in the clip.

While investigators are aware of the newly-released tapes, all criminal cases against the rapper were closed after his tragic murder.
