Catherine Oxenberg’s Daughter India Flees New York After Escaping Sex Cult

Moving on!

Catherine Oxenberg’s daughter, India, has fled New York after escaping the NXIVM sex cult, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

A source close to the Oxenberg family told RadarOnline.com that India left New York “a couple weeks ago.”

“She is no longer in the state of New York,” the insider added.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the NXIVM sex cult was headquartered in Albany, New York. India reportedly lived with Smallville actress Allison Mack, who allegedly was her slave master.

India’s current whereabouts are unknown, but Catherine released a statement on her daughter’s behalf hinting that she’s in good health and safe.

“India is moving on with her life,” Catherine said in a statement to RadarOnline.com. “She is doing really well and I’m impressed with how she is handling it all. Right now she would like privacy and she will share her side of the story in her own time in the future.”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, India was one of several women within NXIVM whose flesh was branded with leader Keith Raniere and Mack’s initials. Mack confessed to creating the practice, which included the use of a hot cauterizing iron.

Raniere, Mack and three others have been arrested for running the NXIM sex cult ring known as DOS. The cult has been exposed for luring in women to be abused, starved, blackmailed and threatened.

Catherine has spent the last year doing whatever she can to bring her daughter home and out of the cult. RadarOnline.com reported that India recently broke free.

Catherine released a memoir titled Captive: A Mother’s Crusade to Save Her Daughter from a Terrifying Cult, which exposed NXIVM’s disturbing teachings.

The NXIVM leaders are expected to appear in court next month. Four of the five defendants exhibited bizarre behavior at a hearing in July, RadarOnline.com reported.
