As readers know, the Elf star, 50, was rushed to the hospital—incredibly only with minor injuries– after the serious car accident when his 2017 Lincoln Navigator driving I-5, north of La Paz road lost control, hit the center divider and overturned, leaving four people hospitalized.

Ferrell’s vehicle was traveling next to the 2007 Toyota driven by Espinoza in the HOV-lane.

For an “unknown reason,” the 2007 Toyota “veered into the HOV lane” and “struck the right rear of” the car Ferrell was in.

“All occupants in the Lincoln navigator (4 including driver) were taken to nearby hospitals,” the Public Information Officer told RadarOnline.com of the crash at the time.

“One of the passengers, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with major injuries,” the PIO noted.

The police report explained how the woman was not wearing her seatbelt.
