Jimmy Fallon Honors Victims, Inspires Students At Parkland High Graduation Ceremony
Jimmy Fallon surprised the graduating class of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School this Sunday to give a heart-rendering speech on loss, success, friendship and hope.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the surprise came almost five months after seventeen people died in the horrific Valentine's Day massacre brought on by teen killer Nikolas Cruz.
The show host — who is known for his light-hearted jokes — started off his discourse by congratulating the students on their wonderful achievement.
"That doesn't mean you should rest on your laurels — or your yannys," he added, speaking of the infamous "Yanny" or "Lauren" debate that recently took over the internet. "Some of you will grow up to hear yanny, some of you will grow up to hear laurel, but the most important thing for you to know is that neither of these things will matter by the end of the summer."
After getting the students and their families roaring with laughter, Fallon, 43, left them with an inspirational message.

"The first thing is this: When something feels hard, remember that it gets better," the funnyman said. "Choose to move forward. Don't let anything stop you."
He, along with the school's faculty, then honored the four seniors who lost their lives in the horrific shooting.
