For their eighth wedding anniversary, Harrison Ford is giving Calista Flockhart the splashy wedding she always wanted, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusively!
“The word is they’ve decided to renew their vows and they’ll do it at their Los Angeles home,” a source close to the Tinseltown power couple dished to RadarOnline.com.
“They both wanted something elegant, but not a big A-list affair. Harrison will wear a tuxedo and Calista will finally get to slip into a wedding gown.
“Apparently, they decided to write their own vows to make it extra special.”
The Star Wars stud, 75, and Ally McBeal star Calista, 53, dated eight years before finally saying “I do” on June 15, 2010, in an intimate affair at the governor’s mansion in Santa Fe, N.M.
Then- Gov. Bill Richardson presided over the ceremony with the state’s chief justice, Charles W. Daniels, declaring the two legally wed.
The only guests were the governor’s wife and the couple’s adopted son, Liam.
“Their wedding was a very happy occasion, but it wasn’t exactly the day Calista grew up dreaming of,” explained the insider.
“It was more of a formality, and done near Harrison’s movie location for convenience.”
At the time, the actor was filming “Cowboys and Aliens” in New Mexico.
“Harrison had been married twice before and didn’t want a big wedding, and Calista was happy to go along with it,” the source spilled exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
“But this time around, it’s all about what she wants!
“It’s not like Calista has been longing for a huge white wedding all these years, but she wanted to wear the dress and have all her family and closest friends there.”
