Weiner's Nightmare: Court Unseals Search Warrant For Anthony's Electronic Devices
Anthony Weiner was ordered to give up all of his electronic devices to investigators days after he was exposed for sexting a minor, RadarOnline.com has learned.
According to a newly unsealed search and seizure warrant reviewed by RadarOnline.com, the disgraced congressman was ordered to fork over an iPhone, iPad and his laptop computer.
The former politician gave up the devices on September 21, 2016, just two days after it was revealed that he was sexting a 15-year-old girl. According to the federal warrant, Weiner's devices were being held by a Manhattan-based firm, Granite Intelligence, when the FBI tried to obtain access to them on September 26, 2016.
The electronic devices would be used by law enforcement personnel and technical experts for the purpose of "assisting the government in this investigation," the document states.
The document continued that the devices would be used as evidence revealing the identity or location of Weiner's victims, as well as history of "photographs, contact lists, address books, instant messages, chats, text messages, emails, and photographs or videos" sent and received by minors.

The search was also conducted to locate "child pornography or suggestive images."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Weiner pled guilty to sexting an underage girl and was sentenced to 21 months behind bars. Weiner's victim spoke out for the first time following the scandal last fall, telling Inside Edition that she was "disgusted."
Weiner's estranged wife, Huma Abedin, filed for divorce in May 2017.
