Ariane Bellamar officially received her happy ending when she eloped with her fiancé Tanner Slaught Saturday in Dallas.
But what was meant to be a family affair at Slaught’s family’s $23 million estate in California turned out to be a small gathering of just bride, groom and a few friends in Texas after the nuptials threatened to expose a family secret, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Kenny Slaught, Tanner’s father, allegedly fathered a child years ago while his dying wife was pregnant with his youngest son, Casey. Kenny claimed it was public knowledge, but once Tanner requested that all of his brothers be groomsmen at his wedding, including his half-brother, his father allegedly disowned him!
“Tanner just wanted to do the right thing,” Bellamar tells Radar. “He feels totally isolated abandoned and doesn’t understand why.
“This is a burden you placed on your child.”
Bellamar says that she and Tanner were living on one of the family’s properties, but Kenny gave them 30-days notice to get out, but evicted them with 3-days notice. The Beverly Hills Nannies star said the move was especially hard on her daughter because she had promised her that things would be “stable” now. As Radar previously reported, Bellamar was a victim of domestic abuse.
Despite the circumstances, Bellamar and her now-husband eloped in a gorgeous intimate wedding with her daughter and some friends.
Dressed in a red ball gown, Bellamar says she wore the bold color to make a statement.
“I’m not ashamed of my past, and I’m not ashamed of who I am,” she said.
