Ex-Husband Challenges Tamra Barney To Lie Detector Test After She Calls Him A Liar, PLUS Court Papers Prove She Gave Up Custody Of Son

Tamra Barney slammed her ex-husband Darren Vieth on Thursday, calling him a liar who made up stories about her cheating on him for money, and RadarOnline exclusively has the details of the escalating war.
Darren, 48, told RadarOnline.com earlier that Tamra, 45, lied when she blamed the breakup of their marriage for her first suicide attempt. In fact, he said, the marriage broke up because Tamra was cheating on him!
And while she also blamed him for being a bad dad, RadarOnline.com has obtained court papers showing she voluntarily gave up custody of their son Ryan to him in 1995. What's more, on Tamra Tweeted on Thursday that Darren cheated on her -- with a man. He told RadarOnline.com he will sue her for that.
Regarding her version of their marriage and how it contributed to her first suicide try, Darren said: “Tamra usually never tells the entire story, and this time is no different."
His comments infuriated the Real Housewives of Orange County star, who on Thursday Tweeted:
Now Darren is blasting back, and tells RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that he challenges his ex to take a lie detector test!
“I’m not broke and I never asked anyone for any amount of money for a story,” Darren told RadarOnline.com. “Nor do I want any money. “I would turn down money if it was offered.
“I came forward because she blamed me for her suicide attempt -- like I’m a bad husband that makes women want to commit suicide.
“I told her don’t want to be part of her Housewife Hollywood stuff. I never tell anyone she’s my ex wife “All I want is to have a relationship with my son and she spoiled that.”
Darren says he challenges Tamra to take a polygraph on all the facts surrounding this situation, proving that his version is the truthful one. “This is about the truth,” he told RadarOnline.com.
“This is my motivation to come forward. She’s not telling the truth.
“And she’s slamming Simon (Barney , her second ex-husband) all the time. If she cared about her kids as much as she says she wouldn’t be saying all this.” As Tamra attacked Darren on Twitter Thursday she said this about their son:
But RadarOnline.com has obtained court papers that show Tamra gave back custody of Ryan to his dad in 1994.
In a court declaration she wrote, “On July 26, 1994 Respondent and I did enter into a stipulation which gave him sole physical custody of our son.” She said he owed back child support and that she was broke.
A court order obtained by RadarOnline.com verifies that Darren was given sole physical custody with Tamra’s consent.
Eventually their son went back to live with Tamra and Darren says that is because he trusted her next husband Simon.
“You once told Gretch Rossi, ‘The truth shall set you free,’” Darren said, addressing his ex through RadarOnline.com. “So now I challenge you to a polygraph to settle who is telling the truth.”
As the war between Tamra and Darren escalated Thursday she Tweeted that he cheated on her with a man.
That comment infuriated Darren who told RadarOnline.com: “I’m straight, I’ve never cheated and I’m going to sue her for these statements.”
