The actor lists June 26, 2016 as the day of their separation. Kimberly filed for divorce the next day.

The former couple has yet to come to an agreement concerning spousal support and the separation of their property, assets and debts, according to the document filed February 5.

Dennis is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year old twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace. The former couple nearly lost the twins after the children were given an accidental overdose of the blood thinner Heparin at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, just two weeks after they were born. (The Quaids reached a $750,000 settlement with Cedars-Sinai in December 2008.)
