St. Louis Rams Receiver Stedman Bailey Shot In Head
St. Louis Rams receiver Stedman Bailey remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday after he was shot in the head in Miami Gardens, Florida, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Bailey was shot twice in the head while his cousin, who was driving, was also shot, suffering life-threatening injuries, according to the NFL's Ian Rapoport.
Bailey is currently on suspension from the team, who acknowledged they were investigating the situation after having "spoken with" the ailing athlete.
"We are aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident this evening," the team said. "We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more."

The team hit the pass-catcher with a four-game suspension this month in connection with a violation of the league substance abuse policy; he had served two of the games so far.

Bailey's Rams teammate Chris Long and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell were among those who took to Twitter to send their well wishes following the act of violence.
Bell wrote he was sending his "prayers to my brother Stedman Bailey," while Long wrote, "Keep our brother @iamSB3 in your thoughts, prayers tonight. I don't wanna believe it…."
