Sharon Osbourne SLAMS Mel B's Ex: 'It's Not Just Physical, It’s Mental Abuse'

Melanie "Mel B" Brown's former co-judges from the X Factor are coming to her defense amid the singer's nasty divorce battle — including Sharon Osbourne.

The 64-year-old addressed the abuse allegations against Brown's ex Stephen Belafonte on Wednesday’s episode of The Talk.

“In the situation that she’s been in for 10 years, it’s not just physical, it’s mental abuse too,” Osbourne shared.

“Three years ago, in the final two days of X Factor, she didn’t make the first day and she was in the hospital,” Osbourne continued. “And it was reported in all the papers that said ‘allegedly’ she’s been beaten by her husband. And she came back for the final day and she had a black eye and bruising everywhere, but she made the final.”

“This has been brewing and people talking for a very, very long time,” Osbourne added. “You know what, she’s a good girl. She’s a great mother. She works her bum off.”

Meanwhile, Brown's estranged sister, Danielle Brown, recently came to Mel's defense in a lengthy Instagram rant.

“8 years of abusive calls me and my mum have had stating we would never see Melanie again,” Danielle wrote. “I am laughing and celebrating as you were wrong. you are a sorry excuse of a man !! To the left to the left everything you own in the box to the left,” quoting the Beyoncé hit track "Irreplaceable."

Danielle included a slew of nasty hashtags as well, calling Belafonte a "wife beater," "psychopath" and a "criminal."

Belafonte has vehemently denied Mel B.'s claims, telling reporters, "I am really distraught with how this is going to affect our children. . .I'm shocked at those allegations."
