The ladies of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have managed to dethrone Lisa Vanderpump and now Kyle Richards is setting the record straight about why they made their move.

During Watch What Happens LiveAndy Cohen asked Richards why she questioned Vanderpump’s integrity during the ladies’ trip to Puerto Rico.

“This came at a time where the women kept bringing up the tabloids over and over again. That was a sore subject as it was, and my husband was not happy about that,” Richards said, referring to the rumors accusing her husband, Mauricio Umansky, of adultery.

Cohen pushed her further and asked her why she didn’t accept Lisa’s answer that she didn’t bring the tabloids on the trip.

“You weren’t convinced?” Cohen asked Richards.

“My husband was really upset… He felt that I wasn’t defending him as his wife. I signed up for this. He didn’t,” Richards said.

After Vanderpump inadvertently gave breath to the cheating rumors, Richards and her husband got into a hearted argument over her friendship with the British beauty.

“So I felt I needed to get to the bottom of it. Brandi Glanville is the truth cannon, so I wanted to ask with them both there, so I could have a clear answer.”
