'So Shady!' Orlando Bloom's 'Lies' Poisoned Katy Perry Relationship, Says Source

Katy Perry just can't pick 'em! The singer's sudden split with boyfriend Orlando Bloom came after weeks of trouble, a source told RadarOnline.com, as Perry began to notice Bloom's "shady" behavior.

According to a source close to Perry, 32, “Katy caught Orlando in a series of lies. For the past month, he was being so shady!”

Although once joined at the hip, the pair have been spending more time apart than together in recent weeks. Bloom traveled to Africa without Perry, and he was MIA for her Grammys and Brit Awards performances, too.

Behind the scenes, the source said, there were issues.

“Orlando would try to cover his tracks all the time because she would bring up stuff that just didn’t make sense,” the source told Radar.

“He would tell her he was one place and she would know that he was somewhere else!”

Last Wednesday, the last straw for Perry came when Bloom was caught canoodling with hot brunette Erin McCabe, at the Global Green pre-Oscars party at Tao nightclub.

And although the superstar singer sucked it up for the Oscars, even going so far as to pose with Bloom for photos at the Vanity Fair party, the source told Radar that Perry pulled the plug and ended it once and for all at the Oscars after-after party, held at Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary’s mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“Katy is just trying to live healthy, and she does not want to be with someone who is partying all the time anyways,” said the source.
