Gunshots Fired At Cannes: Actor Christopher Waltz Rushed Offstage During LIVE Television Show

Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz was rushed off stage during a live television broadcast at the Cannes Film Festival after a man reportedly fired two rounds of blanks during filming.

According to reports, the host of the program, Le Grand Journal, came back on air shortly after to say that police had taken the perpetrator into custody and that he had shot two blanks into the air as well as having a fake grenade in his possession.

A witness told The Hollywood Reporter: "I thought I heard them say, 'Run, he has a gun.'"
No injuries were reported.
