It's War! Kim & Brody Feud Explodes Backstage At ESPYs -- How He Humiliated Her
Brody Jenner's feud with Kim Kardashian reached a whole new level at the ESPY Awards Wednesday night. While most members of the family put aside their differences to unite in celebrating Caitlyn Jenner's big night, RadarOnline.com has learned that Brody intentionally humiliated his Keeping Up with the Kardashians step-sibling.
"Brody didn't even speak to Kim backstage," an insider told Radar. "Brody thinks Kim is just beyond fake, and wants nothing to do with her. He was thankful that she didn't bring brooding Kanye to the ceremony."
Brody made his feelings clear when he posted a picture backstage to his Instagram account. Though he stated it was a family photo, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were all absent. Half sisters Kendall and Kylie were featured, however, along with Caitlyn's other children, Burt, Brandon, Cassandra, and their partners. Football player, Odell Beckham also photobombed the family picture.
It was a triumphant moment for Caitlyn on Wednesday night as she received a standing ovation while accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
The Olympian — admitting that her "transition has been harder on me than anything I can imagine" — said she’d "do whatever I can to reshape the landscape of how transgender people are viewed and treated."
The Malibu glamour girl continued, "My plea for you tonight is one join me in making this one of your issues as well."
"If you want to call me names, make jokes and doubt my intentions, go ahead because the reality is I can take it — but for thousands of kids out there coming to terms with the reality of who they are they shouldn’t have to take it."
Perhaps inspired by Caitlyn's message of peace, the insider said Brody did reach out an olive branch to one of his relatives. "Brody offered support to Kourtney because he has talked to Scott and knows about the struggles he has been dealing with," the source said. "But Kourtney was basically nonplussed by Brody's words."
