Adam Lambert is thrilled that same-sex marriage is now legal in California but don't buy him wedding presents just yet!

The openly gay American Idol  season 8 runner-up talked to RadarOnline.com in an exclusive video interview about the ruling, "It's fabulous!  But I'm single, so there are no wedding bells in my future right now!"

Lambert joined gays across the country in hailing the Supreme Court  for clearing the way for same-sex marriages to take place in California by overturning the state's Proposition 8.

But Lambert is flying solo these days.  As RadarOnline.com  has previously reported, Lambert split from his boyfriend, Finish entertainment reporter Sauli Koskinen, earlier this year.

Lambert, who announced he was gay after competing on Idol, spoke to RadarOnline.com on Wednesday at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood, where he was performing at the AT&T Live Proud event.  The concert honored the Trevor Project's efforts in crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

"I believe in using celebrity for visibility in causes bigger than myself," Lambert told RadarOnline.com before performing eight songs at the Playhouse.
