THIS IS NOT FAIR TO MR. HICKS. All those insane comments came from about 4 people. I like Mr. Hicks because I love music, I love Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Jackie Wilson, Solomon Burke, Willie Nelson, and many , many others. I also know music and am educated in music.. I despise American Idol. I very much accidently ran across Mr. Hicks when he was on the show and was impressed. I then found out that he had spent 10 years on the "chiltlin circuit' and had two independent albums. Michael Bolton in no way compares with him. He is a great bandleader, writer, musician, and arranger. And for you to say these things when you have obviously never heard any of his pre AI music is just grossly unfair. I agree when you say he has insane fans, I have no idea why this happened to him, but it is just a real shame, because he is very, very talented. I have no interest in his personal life, I don't need him to turn me on. I just know a fantastic voice and talent when I hear it and see it and this is not right. And it is a few insane , idiotic fans that have caused it. Please, will you at least be fair and listen to his two independent albums and other pre AI music. One of his albums he did with almost no money when he was only 20 and it has incredible arrangments on it plus some original music. You can get his independent cds at Lasers Edge. They are called "In Your Time" and "Under the Radar" or you can find some of his original music at Tay-Online. He never for one minute belonged on AI and it is not right to talk this way about someone you have never seen perform and obviously have never really heard. Go to a show someday, He is an incredible energetic live performer. And a great musician. It is not fair to do this to someone because of a few people who are truly insane. I think you will be more likely to find Taylor Hicks in the dirty , sweaty, bars of the deep south. He will be more comfortable there. But you will find him somewhere.

A bunch of so-called fans making total asses of themselves and he suffers for it. And not one of them care. No one with an ounce of brains in their head cares who was on the beach. There was one woman and thats fine. But if there were two , so what, nobody cares. Its obvious that Radar thinks you are all a bunch of loons and radar is right. They are not right about Mr. Hicks, he is an incredibly talented man and he does not deserve this. As far as being gay, I wouldn't care if he was, but I happen to know that he is not and it is annoying.
This all started when fans of certain other idols who hated Taylor because he won went to all sites wherever his name was mentioned and did all that they could to make his fans look like fools. They have done harm to him. And many of his fans played right into their hands.
Taylors lived a hell of a life, hes seen and done a lot, hes no angel, but he is a talented and decent man. He doesn't deserve this. He does have intelligent fans , most of them won't show up in these places. But I feel compelled to let Radar at least ,know that they do exist.. All that is really important is his music, You guys at Radar someday, if you get a chance, go to one of his live concerts, you will be surprised. Give him a chance. There is a lot more to him than this pack of loons.

Those pictures are all the same woman. How would you find someone just handy sitting around wanting to be a fake girlfriend? How dim witted are these people? Radar said nothing was photoshopped. And so what if there was another blonde around, the man has woman all over the place. Please, Taylor Hicks does not deserve this , quit being an embarrassment to yourselves. People are laughing at you everywhere.

I have seen Taylor Hicks in concert. He really is an extremely good performer. Its a shame he has to be embarrassed by this small group of insane people who claim there is a fake girlfriend. It is a very small group. Thanks for this article which shows how ignorant and foolish they are. I have to disagree with one thing you said though, that Hicks has never been linked with a female.
I am sure that will come as a surprise to a number of women. LOL
