Sure, Britney should be more responsible, but what do expect from white trash? Is that really the worst thing that she's going to do to her child? That's fine if you want to label it child abuse. However, if we're going to start going this far, then I want all parents held accountable for whatever their child does from 0-18. If they murder someone, mom and dad go to trial for the kid's actions. If the kid skips school, mom and dad get punished. If we're going to take this ridiculous notion of what child abuse is to new levels, then some other things are going to have to change too. I'm all for forcing parents to be parents, but let's be real here. For years parents smoked in front of kids, didn't put them in child seats until they are 42" tall, drove them in cars that didn't have airbags (I thought SUVs were so much safer, so why the kid booster seat?), let them play outside *gasp* by themselves, let them stay home alone, and didn't have video games as babysitters. Come on, let's regulate childhood some more so all of our kids can be obese, lazy, lawyer-chasing, spoiled brats.
