My Comments
When I read Neel Shah's blurb I watched the 60 Minutes clip looking for all the 'gay' stuff about Anderson Cooper and between the two men. Didn't see a thing.
Yes, I am going to nit-pick Shah's comments. First, I saw no sign of a "mutual man crush". I saw a couple of guys joking around and laughing, which all guys do, even with each other. Second, not once did Coop "giggle". And Shah took the tan comment out of context. Coop addressed the issue with Beckham regarding his coming to US only to sit on the beach. Beckham acknowledged that was part of it and so jokingly Coop made the tan comment.
Third, Coop was not wearing a "form fitting" T-shirt nor was he "flailing about". Coop certainly showed how difficult it is to block one of Beckham's potential goals. Last but not least in the nit-picking department, to really show that Shah doesn't know anything, Beckham's trademark foot is his RIGHT foot not left. Maybe Shah should pay more attention to the interview instead of daydreaming.
All in all I thought Coop's interview was as factual as he could make it in the time allowed, adding in a little light-heartedness for fun.
