Native Americans are STILL having their land taken away and polluted by mining companies, civilians are being tortured in Guantanamo w/o Geneva Convention rights, African Americans are still shot and beaten by police in questionable circumstances (wallets mistaken for guns...) we launched two wars on countries for their oil (forget 911 terrorists still hiding) and about to launch a third war on Iran, I could go on for a few more paragraphs...

Most religions have followers that are violently opposed to other religions. Look at the history of Western Christianity--in the name of 'God' they subjugated and destroyed indigenous cultures all over the world, while shipping the natives' wealth back to Europe.

N. & S. America, India, China, the South Seas, Australia, and Africa to name a few. It continues today with Iraq and Afghanistan among others. While preaching democracy--Americans only seem to think that such rights only belong to white citizens and nobody else. Ask an African American or Mexican.

The Arabs legitimately occupied the Israeli lands (which were taken by the Jews from the original inhabitants--read the Old Testament) after the Romans destroyed them in the 1st century AD.

The Arabs then occupied Palestine for a millennia--much like the Anglos occupied the land of Native Americans--except Arabs WERE the original indigenous of the land.

The occupation of the Middle East by Europeans in both the Crusades and after WW I led to the un-Christian taking of Palestine from inhabitants that lived there for centuries. Basically they wanted a place to get rid of the Jews in Europe as Germans weren't the only ones that didn't like them.

This is all in the history books they made us read in school. Exploitation of the Muslim countries by Westerners for oil has gone on for a century.

Is it any wonder they are pissed off and hate us?

On the flip side Muslims were also invading and conquering foreign lands and forcing their religion on ancient cultures--so both they and the West have some bad Karma to pay.
