Posted by: anonymousofcourse on May 29, 2008 4:12 PM To anyone just waking up to the whole scientology debacle...this calculating and dismissive response by scientology to the urgent potential health concern for anyone spending time on that boat is, unfortunately, just one more example of the cult's long list of nasty, dirty tricks, IMHO. Google exscientologykids to learn what it was like for some young people to grow up within the cult. To Karin Pouw and the organization of scientology- Happy downstat staturday folks! (scientology measures all their so-called "successes" each Thursday @ 2:00 pm each day, world-wide. When negative publicity occurs just prior to that time, cult members must work feverishly to attempt to counteract it, so they can still report "upstat" for the week. It appears this is going to be a VERY DOWNSTAT Thursday for the sciguys) Posted by: anonymousofcourse on May 1, 2008 3:32 PM Thank you very much for this article Tyler Gray and Radar Magazine for this article. It's frustrating isn't it?...trying to get information or even a direct response to a direct question from scientology? Hard to communicate with people who, IMHO, not only practice revisionist history but also revisionist reality. What kind of an organization has such patent disregard for the health of their membership? Give me strength!! Posted by: anonymousofcourse on May 1, 2008 3:09 PM Drat, I took the headline at face value...and was sadly disappointed...now I have to bring my heart rate back down. The cult's game plan here is to get scientologists to register for these courses, AND PAY FOR THEM ASAP. Since scientologists are not allowed (at threat of serious repercussions) to look at critical information about scientology, most of them have no idea the boat is sealed and unusable (possibly forever). The cult is hoping to collect a bunch of money which of course they will never pay back when the courses do not happen (anyone who asks for a refund will be kicked out of the "church").
How they avoid fraud charges is beyond me!
However even worse behaviour than the preceding, in my opinion, is the cult's refusal to acknowledge the blue asbestos problem and then inform the 20,000+ people who have spent time on the boat of their potential exposure. The blue asbestos problem was first identified to the cult by Lawrence Woodcraft, Architect who became aware of the contamination during renovations. See his affidavit at xenutv. Obviously the cult cares about money...but the health and well-being of its members? NOT SO MUCH!
Shame on you David Miscavige.
Thank you Radar for continuing to follow this story. And to Anonymous for keeping up the good fight!
