P.J. O'Rourke was once quoted in WSJ as saying:

"I am of course a big fan of hypocrisy, because hypocrites at least know the difference between right and wrong--at any rate, know enough to lie about what they're doing. Liberals are not nearly as hypocritical as conservatives, because they don't know the difference between right and wrong."

Huh? Is that supposed to by insightful? or humorous? or what? Is there any truth in it? Pathetic.

O'Rourke proves again and again that a being a smartass contrarian does not necessarily make one a humorist.
