Midnight11, I don't need to question the things Taylor says and does in his personal life,,,because they are none of my(or your) business.
People who believe that celebrities owe their fans explanations or apologies for how they conduct their private lives should not question the sanity of others.
And someone who obviously knows as little about ANYTHING as you do should avoid questioning the intelligence of others.
And finally, Taylor's reputation isn't being trashed in the main-stream media, in fact, this story isn't playing anywhere but here and splash...and if thats your idea of main-stream, God help us all

Yeah, susan222, I saw that. So, I guess renowned experts aren't always right.
In fact, a memo written by her is on the net where she gives the average success rate for those who keep track as 30%.

Not for nothing but:
1. I don't know CelebrityBlondBabe or anyone else posting in this discussion. And I have no sisters.
2. I was unaware that I had posted any "juicy" tidbits.
3. I have never said that I know Taylor or any of his friends. I do ,however, know who I said I know. This person has met Taylor-twice. This year and last year. And in his opinion Taylor is just fine....happy, relaxed, and very busy with his career. You can choose not to believe this if you want...your non-belief dosen't make it any less true.
4. midnight11-I'm quite sure that you have no access to Taylor's financial records....so when you imply he cannot afford to record his CD on his own or release a DVD, YOU are the one talking out of his/her ass. Just because you lost money on all the tours etc. that you have bankrolled (where I assume you gained all your valuable expertise on the subject) does not mean that a SMART person couldn't make money. As for the gigs in the Phillipines, the tickets were free to those who attended, but Taylor was paid for his appearances. Lots of celebrities do this sort of corporate sponsored event because they pay very well.
5. No response, no lawsuits because Taylor doesn't care about this nonsense. He is too busy working on his CD etc. to have time for this.

So, lets recap, Taylor is fine and happy and busy. I'm fine and happy as are my friends and family. Can't comment on the state of Caroline Lyders, because I don't know her or anyone who has met her, but I hope she is happy and doing well. Lots of you all are apparently not fine or happy, which is why you spend your time wishing bad things on people that you don't know. You should try to get over that...hate does more damage to the person who lives it than to its intended targets.

Actually, I have never met Taylor Hicks, and have never claimed that I know him. I do, however, have a very good friend who's husband likes to golf an awful lot....in fact, thats how he supports his family. It seems to be a good life, and as an added bonus, he sometimes meets famous people from the entertainment industry.
Taylor is just fine, concentrating on the new cd and other career opportunities. Apparently totally unfazed by the horrible crisis that you all think is dragging him down and destroying his life....go figure. Maybe he doesn't know how tragic his life is..or maybe you people are all full of-well I don't have to say it because I'm pretty sure that you know what all this is a big old pile of.

Uppereast- Its called an expert OPINION, not an expert fact. Gibson is entitled to her OPINION, but that does not make it fact. And since neither she, you, or any one else who has posted here was there, its all just speculation.
And I doubt that if Taylor were more popular this non-story would be all over reputable news outlets. Reputable outlets have the sense NOT to engage in unproven gossip and rumor.
Radar, why would you consider the answer "I have a plane to catch" convoluted? It seems pretty clear to me.
Taylor is living his life, not stressing about this crap. He is happy and excited about his work on his new CD. He has a real life and he is enjoying it. And, I suspect that he doesn't spend his time wishing gloom, doom, and disaster on others. Perhaps some of the posters here should "investigate" why they have nothing better to do with their lives than try to ruin the happiness of others.
Hate is an ugly thing.

Taylor is busy working on his new CD. He isn't commenting because he doesn't care about this...he knows its a load of garbage.
Any "fan" who thinks they are intitled to the "truth" about someone else's personal life should find themselves a good therapist immediately.
Radar...using Mfoya as a source of information shows how lacking in credibility you are.
This article illustrated one important point....even supposed experts are not infallible and are sometimes WRONG. I wonder why a credible expert would want to involve themself in a bizarre attempt to damage the reputations of two individuals that they don't even know.
And, to repeat a point that has been made many times, Taylor doesn't care, the majority of the world doesn't care about this. This should be obvious from the fact that no reputable news source has mentioned this HUGE scandal.
Now I think everyone should get on with their own lifes.

Actually, for those of you who flunked reading comprehension, I never said my family worked anywhere.

Posted by: Mystified on January 16, 2008 1:45 PM

Lets try some REAL detective work.....Taylor and the beach woman stayed at a hotel, correct? Hotels have employees don't they? Employees have families do they not? Their families have friends, isn't that correct? All these people have both eyes and ears, isn't that correct? And people talk, don't they?
It was Caroline Lyders on the beach in Maui with Taylor Hicks....fact not delusion.
The only people in denial here are those who have fallen for a ridiculous conspiracy blog and now can't admit they have been had.

Posted by: Mystified on January 16, 2008 1:12 AM

Actually, it is a fact. Believe what you like, but it doesn't change the FACT that it is Caroline Lyders on the beach in Maui.
Gossip magazines publish non-facts every single day. Because they know that most celebrities aren't going to take the time or spend the money to challenge them. Most celebs, like Taylor, can't even be bothered to comment.
Have fun with your theories, but to repeat for the last time...it is Caroline...absolutely, positively, without any doubt or question it is her.

Posted by: Mystified on January 15, 2008 8:42 PM

The nation does not think he has a fake girlfriend....the vast majority of the nation knows nothing about this ridiculous non-scandal, and probably wouldn't care if they were aware of it.
Once again for those who are slow-its Caroline Lyders on the beach in Maui. Thats not speculation or loopy conspiracy theory, thats the plain and simple fact.
And Taylor doesn't care about this at all.

Posted by: Mystified on January 15, 2008 8:26 PM

Taylor has not responded in any way or sued anyone because he has a LIFE and doesn't give a rodent's rear-end about this sort of garbage. Those of you who think that you are upsetting him or in any way causing misery in his life are 100% wrong. He really could not care any less.

Reader,
I know what its called. Holding out some slight hope that this is just lazy reporting. Call me an optimist....

Posted by: Mystified on January 13, 2008 8:14 PM

RadarOnline,
With all due respect, this story is beyond far-fetched. It is Caroline Lyders on the beach in Maui with Taylor Hicks. And there have been other women. Because you are unaware of them doesn't mean they don't exist. Do your own research, don't depend on the blog of a dillusional ex-fan whose motive is far from finding the truth. If you are responsible journalists, do your homework. Talk to some people who know the man. It won't take much effort to reveal this story for the asinine nonsense that it is.
