I like Obama, but if he were a student in my composition class, he would have a lot of explaining to do right now. If your buddy lets you borrow, you still need to acknowledge the source. NOW ... Having read Alice Walker's 2006 book, I assumed that Barack provides an attribution when he uses her title verbatim? ... (yes, Walker is quoting from a poem by June Jordan but she gives credit in print on the very first page!)
