I think Amercian culture in general does a much better job of that than cigarettes in specific.

Oh, and on one final note- Considering the general gist of this thread has been whether or not it's a good idea to coddle kids throughout their childhood because maybe this might make them contemptuous, disagreeable adults incapable of finding a middle ground with someone on the opposite side of an issue- well.. um.. I think we *might* already have that particular answer.
