Last I saw Kevin Federline, the supposed "great" parent smokes, has friends over to his house for parties, Im sure they smoke in the house!! All I see here is Britney smoking a cigarette and doing the right thing by smoking outside and then she also did what was right again by taking the cigarettes away. Smoking IS NOT CHILD ABUSE. I am a smoker. I smoke in my bedroom away from my kids, however sometimes they actually enter my room. OMG arrest me now. I actually discipline and punish my children for the bad things they do probably unlike you self-righteous hypocrites that think you are such great parents because you dont smoke. I bet you let your kids run amok, throw temper tantrums and you never lay a finger on them for discipline because in your eyes discipline is abuse as well. GET A LIFE. Britney should not be demonized because she smokes. There are plenty of parents that are not famous and not photographed while they are smoking. My children are just fine and they know not to start smoking because I have discussed it with them, that it is so hard to quit and it is a gross habit. BUT IT IS SO FAR FROM CHILD ABUSE. CHILD ABUSE IS NEGLECT, PHYSICAL ABUSE (BRUISES ON CHILD), AND SEXUAL. IT IS NOT SMOKING IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN. All you self-righteous people are pathetic. Leave the poor girl alone.
