WORST: Paris Hilton looked uncharacteristically casual as she joined newlyweds Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt for dinner at Spago on Thursday. The grey camo t-shirt and boots were fine, but we’re really not sure why she needed knee-pads on her leggings…

WORST: She’s been happily embracing her new curves, but it’s her recent fashion choices that Demi Lovato really needs to address. The Disney star proved that less is more when she severely over-accessorized on a shopping trip on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles on Thursday, piling necklaces over a graphic t-shirt, with patterned tights, a colored scarf and platform laced boots. Phew!

WORST: Soccer player Hope Solo has a stunning body and great goal-saving skills, but her tight leather dress at the ESPN the Magazine Body Issue in New York on Thursday won’t win the Dancing With The Stars contestant any votes. She looks far better naked inside the magazine, then on the red carpet promoting it!

WORST: Susan Sarandon usually looks immaculately put together on the red carpet with clean lines and monochrome colors. On Thursday she broke all of those rules at the premiere of the HBO documentary Sing Your Song, in a buttoned bedazzled black and purple top with frayed edges that looked like she’d bought it at a gift shop on the side of a freeway.

WORST: With her long flowing green velvet coat and very stern expression, Debi Mazar looked like she was about to cast a spell on someone when she swept down a Beverly Hills street on Thursday.  Someone needs to tell the Entourage star that the Harry Potter movies are over so roles for witches are hard to find, and Halloween isn’t for another two weeks!

BEST: Gothic and gorgeous Dita Von Teese oozed glamour in a long navy dress  that swept down her body and blood-red nails and lips as she presented the Cointreau Minibar at Uno Lounge Club in Madrid, Spain on Thursday.

BEST: The bride wore white – again! Two days before her wedding extravaganza airs in all its glory on E!, Kim Kardashian looked almost virginal in a 70s style pant suit and large floppy hat when she arrived at her hotel in New York City on Thursday.

WORST: Only a zebra should have so many stripes! Actress Laura Dern overdid the elongated look at the premiere of HBO’s Enlightened on Thursday. While the slim Jurassic Park star doesn’t need to worry about the horizontal stripes widening her, she should care that they cause a terrible fashion trauma.

BEST: E! host Giuliana Rancic celebrated the sudden cold weather in Los Angeles in a black one-shoulder dress and dark tights that kept her both warm and chic at the 2011 UCLA Neurosurgery Visionary Ball at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The television star added a bright blast of color with a royal blue clutch purse.

BEST: 9021-wow! Kathleen Robertson dripped in Grecian glamour at the season premiere of her new show Boss on the Starz Network at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood on Thursday. The baby blue off-the-shoulder, split-legged gown let the actress flash both shoulder and thigh while remaining classy and demure.

BEST: Luckily The Killing star Michelle Forbes raised the fashion bar at the same premiere by adding a spark to the occasion in a black one shoulder cocktail dress with silver ring paillettes from the David Meister Signature collection.

WORST: Lady Gaga put a LOT of effort into doing her hair before leaving the Lanesborough Hotel in London on Thursday, in fact her whole outfit was made from long flowing black locks – and very little else! It would be nice to see the Bad Romance singer in real clothes for a change, but we’re not holding our breath.

WORST: Patterned tights are a great look for teenagers, and while she is trying to fight back the years every way she can, 53-year-old Sharon Stone missed this fashion trend by a good few decades. The Basic Instinct star’s shapeless black dress and Mary Jane shoes didn’t do her any favors either.
