BEST: Leighton Meester, who plays a rising country star in the upcoming Country Strong, rocked a color-happy maxi dress, which featured a rise and fall hemline.

WORST: Katie Armiger’s metallic tuxedo-style mini had the effect of a discoball.

WORST: What happened to Katherine Heigl’s hair? The gorgeous actress sported a rather drastic platinum ‘do, which equated to a big DON’T. Drowning her hot bod in blue mermaid-style Farah Angsana gown and finishing the look off with Jimmy Choo glitter heels, the bigscreen babe wasn’t looking her red carpet best.

BEST: Laura Bell Bundy dazzled in a Jean Fares Couture hand beaded strapless gown, adding red lipstick and polish for a bombshell contrast.

WORST: While Sheryl Crow looked sensational from the waist up, we couldn’t get over her hideously patterned hemline!

BEST: Talk about Country Strong! Gwyneth Paltrow, who has been promoting her upcoming movie in Nashville, showed us her sexiest side, wearing a dangerously sexy cutout one-shoulder gown, which featured a dramatically high slit.

WORST: Gretchen Wilson should know that she is at an awards show, not on the set of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

BEST: Taylor Swift was the style star of the evening, hitting the carpet in red hot fashion! The country cutie showed off her legs-for-miles in a high slit, sweetheart strapless gown, which she paired with nude strappy heels and Neil Lane jewels.

WORST: Julianne Hough showed off her darkened locks in a dull metallic Georges Chakra gown, which she paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a Judith Leiber clutch. The poufy number, which featured lots off detail, wasn’t quite fine-tuned for the singer.

BEST: JoAnna Garcia looked powerful in purple, though we aren’t quite sure what the actress was doing at the show.

WORST: LeAnn Rimes was definitely thinking outside of the box with this wacky frock, which she paired with too-edgy Jimmy Choo booties and a bright yellow clutch. We could have definitely “lived without” it!

WORST: Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott wore a gorgeously sculpted tulip dress, but the stunning singer ruined the look by wearing her hair on her shoulders instead of in an updo.

WORST: Martina McBride has a fabulous figure and a gorgeous face, but this metallic mini was a tad too young for her to pull off.

BEST: Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland had us feeling anything but the blues, wearing a gorgeous watercolor strapless gown.

BEST: Kimberly Williams-Paisley added a blast of cobalt blue to the red carpet with her slightly embellished one-shoulder gown.

BEST: Nicole Kidman looked wondrous in a white lace Dolce&Gabbana dress, which featured a scalloped hemline.

WORST: Leave it to Kid Rock to promote his favorite alcohol brand on the red carpet.
