BEST: All eyes were on Kate Middleton for her first official appearance as the Duchess of Cambridge and she didn’t disappoint royal-watchers. The newly-wed sparkled in a pearlescent rose sequin gown with Swarovski crystal by British designer Jenny Packham when she attended the ‘Annual Ark Charity Gala ‘in London last night.

WORST: Fergie can usually pull off casual or dressy without a hitch, but the Black Eye Singer looked like she threw on the nearest clothes she could find yesterday when she left her New York Hotel in a ‘No Sale Is Final’ t-shirt and shredded denim shorts. Does hunky hubby Josh Duhamel really let her leave the house like that?

BEST: A different coast, another great look…Sin City star Jaime King looked stunning yet again at the ELLE Spa opening at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami in Florida in a nude Calvin Klein Spring 2011 dress that had scooped sleeves to accentuate her sculpted shoulders.

WORST: After flashing party-goers at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Tuesday, Lady Gaga pranced down the catwalk at Germany’s Next Top Model in a dramatic white see-through dress with a scoop back that showed her bra and panties. We should all be happy she was wearing underwear at least.

BEST: Gisele Bundchen can do no wrong and the supermodel continued her perfect record in a sparkly Oscar de la Renta gown at the AFI Awards last night. The backless dress showed off her toned figure while a pink sash flattered her waist, as if she needs any help to look slim.

WORST: Designer Donna Karan certainly didn’t look like a fashion guru last night when she hosted her first Annual Stephen Weiss Award event. We understand that people like to leave their work in the office when they go out, but does that include their style too?

BEST: Jessica Alba was as pretty as a picture in a white broderie Anglais (also known as English embroidery) gown when she attended the Covenant House California 2011 Gala and Awards Dinner Honoring James Cameron and Suzy Amis Cameron. Due to give birth to her second child later this summer, the glowing mom-to-be has pulled off yet another fashionable pregnancy.

WORST: Sting’s wife Tudie Styler looks fantastic for her age, but even if you’re married to a rock star, 57 is too old to pull off a mesh mini dress and red slip with leather cuffs and gladiator heels.

BEST: Malin Akerman replaced Lindsay Lohan in Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, and now the Swedish actress and model is stealing the role Lohan used to hold as best dressed on the red carpet too. Akerman confidently pulled off a very low-cut dress with a V that almost reached her navel at the Tommy Hilfiger Party in Los Angeles last night.

WORST: When Heidi Klum makes a fashion faux pas, she doesn’t do it halves. The Project Runway star looked like a Harlequin dancer in shiny colored suit that was made even worse by being paired with a diamond checked under-shirt.  Her fellow judges would definitely bid Klum “Auf Wiedersehen” if she dared to design this clown outfit on the reality fashion show.
