He may have the weight of the world on his shoulders following his split from his wife Courteney Cox but David Arquette still managed to visit a soup kitchen in Los Angeles on Tuesday and RadarOnline.com has the latest photos from the visit.
The actor was spotted carting some supplies like boxes of oranges into the soup kitchen. The charity trip comes at an interesting time: hours earlier Arquette gave a surprising confessional of an interview to Howard Stern.
During the show Arquette admitted that he had sex with another woman, 28-year-old bartender Jasmine Waltz. “One time, maybe twice,” he admitted. He also added, “My sexual encounter made me pretty feel manly.”
Arquette – who’s battled addiction in the past – also told Stern that he’d stopped drinking for a month, but admitted he had a few drinks Monday night in the wake of his separation going public.
He told Stern he wasn’t sure if Waltz had sold the story to the tabloids but said it was irrelevant. He noted that she’d texted him in confusion as word spread of their involvement.
As for how he and Courteney broke the separation news to their daughter Coco, he said they explained the situation to her delicately while on the beach. He said when Coco asked if they were getting a divorce, they told her they were trying to figure out what they want.
Prodded by Stern about the couple’s sex life, Arquette admitted he hadn’t slept with Cox for four months, and said his “sex with Courtney is scheduled to a certain degree, it’s methodical to a certain degree, and so full of love… it’s so beautifully passionate.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Cox and her hunky Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt have reportedly been spending plenty of time together on and off the set, leading to speculation that Cox and Arquette had an open marriage.
Arquette said he knew Cox and Van Holt were involved in an “emotional affair” but added he was not aware if it had become physical. He added that “part of the terms of out separation was that I was allowed to see other people and so was she.”
