BEST: Katie Couric looked regal in her strapless sweetheart, which featured a gorgeously embroidered skirt.

BEST: Brooke Shields was a golden girl in a slinky Michael Kors gown.

BEST: Rachel Weisz added a blast of fuchsia to the red carpet in her Oscar de la Renta sweetheart strapless.

BEST: Rachel Zoe, who dressed several of the lovely ladies for the event, looked boho glam in a bright yellow, Marc Jacobs velvet gown.

WORST: Emma Roberts should have gone all out for this gala, instead of wearing a boring cocktail dress.

BEST: Christian Siriano dressed Melania Trump, and the result was magnificent! The Project Runway alum is definitely establishing himself amongst the big wigs in fashion, and this regal, blue strapless was perfect evidence.

WORST: Ivanka Trump is young and gorgeous, but her shimmery, purple Versace gown looked like something her mother would wear.

BEST: Camilla Belle was everything sexy and glamorous in this bright red Jason Wu masterpiece. The Old Hollywood look was beyond perfect for the young star, who was definitely one of the very best dressed of the evening.

BEST: Gayle King’s big, purple gown was powerfully pretty.

WORST: Emmy Rossum’s electric blue Kenneth Cole gown was gorgeous, but we couldn’t get past that statement necklace and her harsh hairdo.

WORST: Her post baby-bod is fab, but Padma Lakshmi’s gold gown was not one of our faves!

BEST: Erin Fetherston looked bohoglam in a Bespoke Juicy Couture gown, which she designed herself.

BEST: Very few people could pull off such a risqué cutout dress, but Alessandra Ambrosio did so flawlessly. The Victoria’s Secret Angel stunned in a pink Versace dress.

WORST: Rosario Dawson would have been a Best contender, because the skirt of her Giambattista Valli was stunning, but the top half, which featured a bowed corset, seemed like something out of a western saloon.

BEST: Very few people could pull off such a risqué cutout dress, but Alessandra Ambrosio did so flawlessly. The Victoria’s Secret Angel stunned in a pink Versace dress.

BEST: Cassie looked super sexy, wearing a Versace cutout gown, which featured a high slit. Most people couldn’t pull of such an edgy look, but the sassy singer had the attitude to pull it off.

WORST: It really doesn’t get much worse than Christina Hendricks blue ensemble. Whatever that thing is on her shoulder (a wig?) had no right to be on the red carpet. Her hair and makeup were dramatically horrible, and did not mesh with the color of her dress.

WORST: Margherita Missoni was wearing a Missoni creation, obviously, which we call a creation, because we can’t quite figure out what it is. Everything from the armor-like bodice of her dress to the tribal headband and finally, the strange, rubber clutch, failed to make any sense.

WORST: Amber Valletta’s blue dress was gorgeous, but her clunky white shoes and eerie makeup, threw the whole look off.

BEST: While short, cocktail dresses are tough to pull off at such a formal event, Hilary Rhoda definitely rocked the red carpet in a red and black mini.

WORST: Riley Keough’s Thakoon for Gap gown was gorgeously designed, but the pale color washed her out.

WORST: Donna Karan’s bright white, one-shoulder gown was far from flattering!

BEST: Donatella Versace rocked a slinky number from her Atelier Versace collection, which perfectly graced her skinny body.

BEST: Emilie de Ravin ravished in a short Valentino number, which she paired with perfectly coordinating heels.

WORST: Supermodel Doutzen Kroes defined over-the-top in her blue Zac Posen. The big question is, how did she walk up the stairs in that thing?

WORST: Demi Moore has looked so great on the red carpet lately, we were shocked to see her in this metallic mess. Her liquid Lanvin dress, which featured a super high slit, was a tad too edgy for her.

BEST: Naomi Watts really had a career best in this gorgeously hued Stella McCartney. The powerfully pink color brought out her features, while bright red lipstick added a dramatic touch.

BEST: Mariska Hargitay stunned in a gorgeously blue Vera Wang strapless.

BEST: Mary J Blige rocked a coral J. Mendel from the Spring 2010 Collection, which looked absolutely perfect on her. From the floral, strapless bodice, to the cascading layers of silk, her inner diva shone was well represented in the springy masterpiece.

WORST: Wild child M.I.A.’s Alexander Wang for Gap gown was definitely edgy, but her hair and makeup failed to compliment the super progressive ensemble.

BEST: Mila Kunis looked luxurious in a tulle-terrific Vera Wang, which featured an embellished bodice.

BEST: Naomi Campell looked sophisticated and gorgeous in her Dolce & Gabbana dress.

BEST: Rachel Bilson looked sophisticated in a Louis Vuitton dress from the Fall 2010 Collection, which had a 1950’s feel to it.
