Living A Lie: How Kris Jenner Tried To Cover Up Split From Estranged Husband Bruce

In April reports of a split swirled to which Kris defended, “My husband and I have been married for over 20 years and I love him. We are so lucky that we get to have so much fun together and with our kids,” she said. “I also love that Bruce and I get to create so many amazing memories not just for ourselves, but also for our kids and grandkids. We are truly blessed. I cherish every second I get to spend with my family and look forward to many more precious moments with them in the years ahead.”

During an appearance on Access Hollywood Live last summer, Kris said Bruce had moved out of their Calabasas mansion, but still came home every night to her. “We got a place out at the beach for him to get away,” Kris said in the interview, claiming there were no problems in her marriage and she said that she still sleeps with Bruce. “It’s been 23 years and it’s amazing to have a little bit of space so it’s kind of fun,” she said.

Despite already being separated, Kris wished Bruce a happy 22nd anniversary on Instagram in April, saying she hoped "the next 22 is even more fabulous...I love you!"

While addressing reports of a breakup after Bruce moved out, Kris again quipped, "We just laugh it off. We love each other and just laugh about it...These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years."

Even after it was revealed that the couple have separated, Kris continued to act like things were fine, posting a photo on her Instagram account with Bruce and her step-sons Brody and Brandon, with the caption: "Another amazing night @brodyjenner @sprandoni and Bruceeeeee!!! Too fun I love you guys!!! Best hearts #sorryTMZgotitwrongAGAINLOL"

The entire last season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris and Bruce acted like a (mostly) happily married couple, despite the Kardashian matriarch admitting last week that they've been separated for a year.

Last August their hit E! reality TV show actually showcased the couple's marriage on the rocks, but Kris again brushed it off saying, “Bruce and I are okay and that’s all that matters. The kids understand. It’s just hard to watch. I just can’t wait until season eight!”

Plagued again by breakup reports, Kris deflected from a straight answer and was quoted last year as saying, "You just have to take it in stride. Life is so good right now. We can laugh about it. We're strong. We've been such a tight-knit family for so long. To keep addressing the rumors every single time just gets old."

Even Kris' daughter Khloe joined in covering up the crumbling marriage, appearing on The Tonight Show in June saying, "They're not having problems, but they still like to live apart, which is definitely different. You know, Bruce and my mom, they wanted some...In my house there is a man room for Lamar. A room, not a different house. So I think they took my idea and ran with it. They got another house and Bruce stays there sometimes."

Kris' step-son also covered for the famous couple during an interview in September's NOW magazine. "I stay out of their business, but as far as I'm concerned, they haven't split up," Brody Jenner said. "Dad's been in Malibu—he grew up out here—and the press has made a big deal of it...It's nothing to do with them breaking up."

Publicly separated, but desperate to save face, Kris has been trying to convince Bruce to stage an attempted reconciliation on Keeping Up With The Kardsashians, but the former Olympic athlete wants nothing to do with it -- and is desperate to just quit the show altogether.
