Lauren Conrad made a big real estate leap, listing her $2.795 million Laguna home in January (which is still on the market) and upgrading to a stunning $8.5 million oceanfront home.
The 3-bedroom, 3-bedroom home is 2,910 square-feet and was built in 1937 but has been fully renovated to reflect the gorgeous neighborhood.
Conrad, 28, was the highest-paid cast member on MTV's 'The Hills', earning an annual salary of $2.5 million -- and she earned an extra $1.5 million through endorsements in 2008.
The biggest selling point of the home is the views! The oceanfront abode offers sunset views from most of the rooms in the house and expansive glimpse of the Pacific ocean.
An $8.5 million home might seem pricey for a reality TV star, but in 2010 Conrad was named the second highest-paid reality television personality -- behind Kim Kardashian!
In 2012 Conrad started dating former Something Corporate guitarist William Tell and the two announced their engagement in October, 2013. Reports of a wedding are slated for the fall of 2014.
The fully renovated house boasts a great mix of old-world charm and modernism, along with fully beamed ceilings and hardwood floors that add a nice touch to the décor.
In 2013 Conrad's 'The Hills' co-star, Kristin Cavallari, revealed how fake the reality TV show was.
“I had fake relationships, fake fights,” the 26-year-old wife of Jay Cutler said on Bethenny Frankel's talk show.
“Here, I can tell you this I don’t care anymore at this point it’s been so many years. Brody Jenner at the time was dating Jayde Nicole, and if you don’t know who these people are this is going to go right over your head."
While starring on 'The Hills' Conrad dated bad boy Jason Wahler, who in 2013 made a startling admission -- that during his lowest point he attempted suicide -- after battling six arrests, DUIs, fights and jail time.
Conrad's other Laguna home was listed in January for $2.795 million but was recently dropped $100,000 to $2.695 million.
Conrad's single-level home sits on nearly half an acre and offers dramatic views of the coastline that stretches from Santa Catalina Island to Los Angeles.
The bathrooms are brand new and modern and the new kitchen features high-end appliances.
Aside from making her mark as a reality TV star, Conrad is also a fashion designer, entrepreneur and author -- and also owns a Beverly Hills penthouse and home in Brentwood.
