The RHONJ star was there for her daughter, as her husband remained at FCI Fort Dix.
He also missed her sweet 16 celebration earlier this year.
RadarOnline.com previously reported that Gia began dating a 17-year-old high school student earlier this year.
"I just had to meet her boyfriend for the first time and that was tough for me," her uncle Joe Gorga told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "I like the guy. She chose a really nice guy so I'm okay with it."
"He's a very respectful kid,” he added. "Comes from a good family and that's what I like about him.”
"He's very mature," he concluded.
