A Final Goodbye: Jim Carrey Carries Cathriona's Casket At Irish Funeral Following Tragic Suicide

It has been almost two weeks since Cathriona White, a makeup artist who had been dating actor Jim Carrey, was found dead in her Los Angeles apartment of an apparent suicide. Now, the 30-year-old has been laid to rest in her native Ireland, surrounded by friends and loved ones.
Mourners gathered to say goodbye to White in Cappawhite, County Tipperary, Ireland.
Services took place at Our Lady Of Fatima church.
Hundreds of people gathered to take part in the memorial.
A somber Jim helped to carry the casket to its final resting place.
On September 29th, White was found dead in her apartment just days after she and Jim had split.
Clearly distraught, Jim got comfort from his daughter, Jane.
Jim embraced Cathriona's sister Lisa as he walked hand in hand with Jane.
At the scene of Cathriona's death, authorities found a suicide note addressed to Jim, as well as three prescription pill bottles bearing the name of his alias.
White was married to another man, Mark Burton, at the time of her death. Burton was a Hollywood cameraman, and a member of the Church of Scientology.
“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower," Jim said after Cathriona's death, "too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her.”
