As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Dickinson claimed the comedian drugged and raped her back in 1982, alleging that the two were in a Lake Tahoe hotel room when she was assaulted, unconscious. Cosby has denied her claims.

The model subsequently accused Cosby and his team of trashing her in the press by calling her claims "fabricated and … an outrageous defamatory lie," so she sued him for defamation and emotional distress seeking unspecified damages.

Since then, Cosby's former attorney Martin Singer, who Dickinson also accused of defamation, has been seeking to remove the current judge on the case.

Singer did not state the reason for his efforts, but should his petition be granted, a new judge will be assigned to the suit.
