Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin just purchased a stunning beachside mansion in Malibu for $14 million where they will put down roots with their two children.
The large home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and is called The Garwood Residence, by the world-renowned architect, John Lautner. This secluded and gated Malibu estate is inspired by the award winning luxury brand, Aman Resorts.
The post and beam estate features heated sandstone floors, a chef's dream for a kitchen, and a unique floor plan encompassing both indoor and outdoor living space.
As Radar has reported, Paltrow's Coldplay husband has been miserable since the couple moved from London to Los Angeles so that the Goop founder could be closer to her friends and family, but it seems he's making the effort to lay down solid roots in Southern California.
The home is set on Malibu’s most coveted beach, Little Dume, which offers a protected backyard anchorage for a yacht, should they decide to scoop one up in the future. The famous (and incredibly rich) duo own a massive estate in London, a place in New York City and in 2012, they spent about $10 million for an equestrian estate in Los Angeles.
During Vanity Fair's Academy Awards party earlier this month, the story the day after was who wasn’t in attendance at the bash: one-time Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow, whose public feud with the magazine over a reported “hit piece” spawned rumors she’d try to steal their thunder with a party of her own.
Paltrow, 41, was recently forced to deny a cheating scandal on her husband with entertainment lawyer Kevin Yorn. Reps for Paltrow were quick to slam the rumor, and Yorn also issued a denial saying, “This is a ridiculous false story by an unknown start-up app/website to garner some attention for itself, with no regard to actually being factual.”
