Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced Monday that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage. However, just before the big breakup, the soon-to-be exes took a cue from Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and took a family divorce vacation. Hollywood power couple Stefani and Rossdale have been together for more than 20 years, but shockingly announced their split on Aug. 3 with a statement that read, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment."
Perhaps hinting at the news to come, the 45-year-old mother of Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and 1-year-old Apollo Rossdale, posted a very cryptic message to on her Instagram three weeks before the split which read, "Random selfie cause I sorta miss u and feel like we need more contact. Send me your vibes."
But according to a source on the set of The Voice, where the "I'm Just A Girl" singer is rehearsing for the upcoming season as a judge, the sign that Stefani and her husband were splitting came last week when she told staff that she "needed to go to Montana for some very important business."

"We not know that the business she was referring to was that she was going there to end her marriage to Gavin," the well-connected production insider tells Radar.
According to the insider, "Gwen has not said anything about Gavin cheating on her, but she did say during rehearsals that they simply fell out of love with each other and that the marriage became more of a business relationship than anything else."

"She also said that they have been going through some difficult times for years now, but that they stuck it out for the sake of their kids," says source.

After the trip, surprisingly, the two arrived back at Los Angeles International Airport together looking like nothing was wrong. They would announce the split soon after.
