Taylor Swift went bold and “fearless” on the orange carpet in this shocking
red Angel Sanchez gown. Complementing her fair skin and super-skinny bod,
Swift hit a high note in style showing that she is more than a country
crooner, but also a fashion siren! Code Red! Not to miss out on the token cowboy boots and country beading, Swift wore a whimsically chic, black and gold Milly dress, straight off the fall ’09 runway, for her performance!(Photo: Splash News)

Julianne Hough may have ripped her Zuhair Murad dress, but the DWTS beauty
looked country glitz and uber-glam in this gold bead-encrusted number.
Winning Top New Artist of the year may have been a big win for Hough, but
her presence and style is a magnificent victory for country music fashion!(Photo: Splash News)

Carrie Underwood was ever-so slightly reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw as she
walked the orange carpet in a pale pink, single shoulder, band-waisted Greek goddess-esque gown. Known for her numerous wardrobe changes, this was Carrie’s first winning look of the night! She may sing “Don’t forget to remember me” but in this fantastic number, that would be impossible!(Photo: Splash News)

She may be a teen star, but Miley Cyrus displayed her sophisticated fashion
sensibilities as she stepped out in an emerald green, single shoulder,
Monque L’Huiller gown. The overly stone touched shoulder strap may be a bit much, but kids these days love to bedazzle. Over embellishment aside, we can still find “7 reasons” why we love this dress!(Photo: Splash News)

Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves brought Malibu Chic to Vegas as they
walked the orange carpet for the ACM Awards. Camilla showed the fab side of Hollywood Mama in a white curve clinging mini dress, with a high collar and low neckline. McConaughey, clad in vintage shades, a distressed leather jacket, faded jeans, and a cowboy worthy belt buckle, made his Hollywood hunk status undeniable.(Photo: Splash News)

Before the big night, Carrie Underwood described her merlot taffeta Rafael
Cennamo performance gown as “hard to describe” and “maybe like lava”, but
this too big for words gown would even make Marie Antoinette cringe- and it
is right up her ally! RadarOnline.com has learned that Carrie was carried
on stage by 3 handlers and “to get off she grabbed as much as she could and
scampered off, stumbling a bit” says our source. Big mistake, and by big
mistake ,we mean Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” big!

Nicole Kidman, alongside hubby Keith Urban, turned out the orange carpet in
a L’Wren Scott overly-sequined and daring, black, backless number reminiscent of Hilary
Swank’s 2005 beautiful Guy Laroche Oscar Gown. Nicole Kidman, however,
doesn’t pull off the look due to her pale skin, wispy hair, frail figure,
and the beading, the beading, the beading! This dress may work on the right woman for the right event, but not for Nicole Kidman at the ACM Awards!(Photo: Splash News)

Emily West chose a strappy snakey gown that, for fashionistas, is more
frightening than the rattle of a rattle snake. Snakes aren’t sexy, and
printed allover an ill-fitting gown is just tragic. We get the country
outback theme, but girl, leave the snakes to the songs and the cowboys!

LeAnn Rimes was styled out in a black halter gown that put padding and
emphasis in all the wrong places: the hips, tummy, and buttocks! Darting
and overlay in a dress can accentuate and flatter the body, but her darts
were not in line! Paired with her snake ring, Rimes is hissing bad fashion.(Photo: Splash News)

Kellie Pickler’s gold/champagne Zuhair Murad number proved to be too fish-like and more
fitting for a Halloween party. The scaling, combined with the mermaid cut is too much of a good trend, which equals bad fashion! The multi-textured gown of beading, scales, and mirrors is interesting to look at, but an eyesore to critique. We do, however, love the simple blonde hairdo and the statement bling ring!
