Spears returned to the UK this week for her first concert in five years at the Apple Music Festival. As fans know, Spears has had quite an amazing year and she looks hotter than she has ever looked before!

But after the show, Spears was not looking so hot! “Britney has been having a lot of fun lately," a source close to Spears told RadarOnline.com.

In 2009, Spears's partying spree ended with her in a psychiatric ward and the conservatorship that gave her father, Jamie Spears, control over her life.

After years of sobriety, however, Spears has recently started having “a few drinks now and then," said the source. They insisted, "It is only a recent thing." Indeed, she posted a photo of herself hosting a glass of what appeared to be champagne before her VMAs appearance in August.

“There really is absolutely nothing to be worried about because Britney has complete control over it," the source told RadarOnline.com. A rep for Spears did not immediately respond to RadarOnline.com's request for comment.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Spears has been taking steps to put her conservatorship to an end. “Britney being able to have a drink now and then just shows that she has beat her demons," said the source. “It is just one more step to her ending the conservatorship."
