Bobbi Kristina Brown's 43-year-old BFF Paige Thompson recently spoke out from prison to insist Nick Gordon had nothing to do with her medical crisis. Now, RadarOnline.com looks back at their wild world together — before Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized and Thompson ended up in prison on heroin charges.
Brown posted a pic on Instagram with her supposed "bestie,"43-year-old Thompson: "We are crazier then sic we look," she wrote.
Despite a 22-year age difference, Instagram photos suggest they spent a lot of time together: "Good friends are SO hard to come by," Brown wrote on Instagram.
When Brown and Nick Gordon supposedly got married, Thompson gushed about it on Instagram with a pic of their rings and hands intertwined: "Congrats to my baby girl and the greatest guy I know. I am so happy for you 2 and love you so much. #reallove #happytimes."
"#reallove #myfamily #mybaba I love these 2 so much such sweet loving peeps," Thompson posted.
Labeling this photo "Krissy Kissy Face," Thompson wrote "#lovethisgirl"
Thompson was arrested and thown in prison for heroin with intent to distribute in January 2014. This photo was posted about a month before her arrest. Thompson wrote "#latenightcandyrun"
She and Brown were so close, she posted numerous photos of the couple like this one: "#myfamily #favpeople," Thompson posted to Instagram of Brown and Gordon.
"Mytruebestfriend #sister4life," Thompson wrote as she embraces Brown.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Thompson's mother, Ophelia Ward, said, "Paige looked at her like a daughter."
Ward said she often saw Brown and Gordon at her house where the 21-year-old would confide in her: "She did talk about her. She worshipped Whitney," she said. "It was Bobbi's desire that she was going to start her own career. She was going to Los Angeles and going to try to start her own career and she was excited about that."
Thompson posted this photo with the words "#mytruepeeps!!!" Her mother told RadarOnline.com that Thompson is devastated upon hearing the news that Brown is in a coma: "Even though she's in prison, Paige is upset about it," she said. "She's very, very upset. She cried."
Ward said she only remembers a happy young girl: "She wasn't depressed when she came over here. I see her smiling face. I looked at her like a mother would look at a child."
Thompson also congratulated Brown (wearing a ‘bride' sweatshirt) and Gordon on their supposed wedding: "I love you guys congrats to my sweet friends that are s kind and loving."
Thompson posted "so happy" for a gleeful Brown in January 2014, the same month she was arrested.
