BEST: The Devil wears Chanel…Anna Wintour was one haute hostess, wearing shimmery coat over a platinum, accordion-like gown with embellished sandals.

BEST: Anna Wintour’s spawn, Bee Schaffer, looked super sophisticated in an intricately embroidered Balenciaga gown.

BEST: Diane Kruger, celebrating her new Calvin Klein fragrance contract, wore a shockingly, Ivory Calvin Klein collection dress. Thought the dress was a simple silhouette, it had an extremely dramatic effect on the angelic actress.

BEST: Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr chose a nude and black Versace gown, which was beyond dramatic, the haltered number was form-fitting in the bodice and featured a cascading chiffon and lace skirt.

BEST: Zoe Saldana, who loves wearing elaborate and eccentric couture, walked down the carpet in a very minimalist, one-sleeved, navy Calvin Klein gown, which showed off her fab figure.

BEST: Oprah Winfrey was in startling style, wearing a midnight blue Oscar de la Renta gown, which featured a skirt of cascading ruffles with Jimmy Choo heels.

BEST: It was nice to see Emma Watson take a risk on the red carpet, showing off her skinny legs in a daringly slit, custom-made Burberry gown. The one-shouldered numbered featured immaculate draping and pin-tucking.

WORST: Joy Bryant looked like she was headed to a 1980’s prom, in an over-tulle’ed, pink Marchesa gown.

BEST: Claire Danes looked immaculate in a metallic brocade Burberry strapless, which perfectly clung to her fab figure.

BEST: Lily Collins indulged in a gorgeously green Chanel cocktail dress, which featured elaborate embellishment. The deep green was really a perfect color for the young actress.

BEST: Eva Mendes grabbed attention wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana ruched, rose print, strapless, mermaid gown. This print has really made headlines this spring, and Eva was the perfect candidate for this masterpiece.

WORST: Vera Farmiga looked like a barmaid at an old country saloon in her Sophie Theallat for Gap gown, which featured short, ruffled sleeves and a layered skirt.

BEST: Nicole Richie combined Studio 54 and Woodstock with her Bohoglam Marc Jacobs gown. The shimmery, silver and black number really brought out her inner fashionista.

WORST: Kirsten Dunst modeled a custom-made, Rodarte for Gap gown, which looked like it belonged in an old western wedding. She could have avoided the not-so-haute look, by wearing better footwear, as those boots were extremely offsetting.

BEST: Taylor Swift looked absolutely angelic in Ralph Lauren. The gorgeous, young star, often opts for heavily embellished gowns, so the simplicity of the exposed shouldered, embroidered gown, really had a dramatic effect on her. Bright red lips finished off the look.

BEST: Thakoon (for Gap) custom-designed Kerry Washington’s red haute gown, and it really showed off her beauty and grace. The sexy slit up the side, and the impeccable draping, paired with tigers eye accessories, perfectly matched her coloring.

WORST: Coco Rocha looked like a sea nymph in her over-the-top Zac Posen. The gown would have been gorgeous, but the ridiculous train was just too much.

BEST: Jennifer Lopez has had an incredible few weeks on the red carpet, and she upped the ante even more in gorgeously embellished Zuhair Murad sweetheart strapless from the Spring 2010 Couture Collection. The incredibly dramatic gown, was demurely shaded in grey and sequined in silver.

BEST: Blake Lively’s uber-mini Marchesa cocktail dress, was definitely not standard for this sort of event, but we sort of loved it on her!

WORST: It would have killed Tina Fey to wear a gown. The funny-girl had to go and wear an unflattering jumpsuit, which she looked super uncomfortable in.

BEST: Was Katy Perry’s gown battery operated? The sassy singer’s high-slit gown, lit up as she walked down the carpet. Though unconventional, her looked was definitely dazzling.

WORST: At least Kristen Stewart didn’t bore, but whoever let her step out in this Chanel Spring 2010 Couture gown, needs to be fired! The asymmetrical strapless dress, which featured a sheer skirt, would have been perfect for Elvira’s prom, but the Twilight star was not a good candidate. Just as bad, was her hair and makeup, which was harshly awkward.

BEST: Sarah Jessica Parker looked gorgeous in her shimmery Halston dress, which featured fine pleats, but that coordinating hair accessory has got to go!

BEST: Kate Hudson wore a sexy, nude number designed by her pal Stella McCartney, which really brought out the SoCal golden girl inside of her.

BEST: Anne Hathaway shimmered in a princess-worthy Valentino gown from the Pre-Fall 2010 Collection. The sweetheart strapless, which featured a full skirt, was a career high for the gorgeous star.

WORST: Carey Mulligan is usually a style star on the red carpet, but while everyone else was getting gowned and gorgeous, she simply got dressed like she was going to a luncheon. The An Education star bored in a lilac Miu Miu Fall 2010 cocktail dress, which she wore with black tight and heels

BEST: Sienna Miller defined sexy in an Emilio Pucci from the Fall 2010 Collection. The deep, blue gown, was shorter in the front, showing off her legs. She got blinged out in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

WORST: Elizabeth Banks looked like Big Bird dyed black, in a feathered cocktail dress. To make matters worse, she paired the mini with lace tights and clunky, open-toed booties.

BEST: Eva Longoria Parker was dramatically trained in an embroidered Marchesa strapless. The platinum, crepe column gown featured a flared skirt and really showed off her curves.

BEST: Gwen Stefani rocked a gown from her L.A.M.B. collection, which wasedgy and sophisticated simultaneously.

BEST: Kate Bosworth went for a 1930’s look, wearing a length, nude Valentino gown, which was embellished in white beads. The style siren added Van Cleef & Arpels jewels to finish off the look.

BEST/WORST: Jessica Alba’s rosy Sophie Theallet gown was stunning, but her hair wasn’t looking so great.

WORST: Giselle is one of the most beautiful women in the world, but not even she could pull off this Alexander Wang for Gap woven mini, which featured a fringed skirt. Though her body looked flawless in the super-futuristic look, it just didn’t mesh well with the overly glam event.

BEST: Jessica Biel got draped in an ivory Ralph Lauren Collection halter, which showed off her stunning figure.

WORST: Malin Akerman’s Temperley London dress was a bit too geometric, looking like it was inspired by the tiles of a kitchen floor.

BEST: Kristen Davis looked super Sexy in a black, sweetheart strapless, which featured a dramatic train.

WORST: Renee Zellweger wore a strapless Carolina Herrera (shocking), which featured a bow around knees. The metallic brocade dress just didn’t work on her.

WORST: Chloe Sevigny showed off her bra in a teal, lace Proenza Schouler cocktail dress, which had an extremely high neck.

BEST: Marion Cotillard always looks amazing, but she outdid herself with this silver sequined, Dior Haute Couture gown.

WORST: January Jones couldn’t decide on one look, so she opted to try out a few in one. We can’t get over the eye makeup, first of all, and then those gloves?

BEST: At first glance, we hated Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Louis Vuitton, but it kind of grows on you. The edgy gown, featured a corseted bodice and a tiered, poofy skirt.

WORST: Bar Refaeli is a supermodel, and could have worn something a little more dramatic than this Rag & Bone mini.
