Barbra Streisand Turns Her Back On Homeless Stepson

Barbra Streisand is a multi-millionaire, but insiders say she has turned her back on her down and out stepson, Jess Brolin. Now, an exclusive investigation by RadarOnline.com shows just how dire his plight really is.

While Streisand celebrated Thanksgiving with husband James Brolin, her stepson was grubbing a free turkey meal from volunteers in a California park.

One year after The National ENQUIRER exposed the dumpster-diving existence of Streisand's homeless stepson, the detached diva left him alone during the holiday.

World exclusive photos shot by Radar on November 26, 2015, show morbidly obese Jess, 43, being fed a hot dinner with other homeless people in Ojai, a city northwest of L.A.

"It's pathetic that while Babs and her husband enjoyed a lavish Thanksgiving feast, poor Jess was left to fend for himself," blasted a source.

In a story that generated worldwide attention, The ENQUIRER documented Jess' tragic plight in a report published last year. At the time, disheveled Jess — one of James' sons from his first marriage — was living on the streets of Ojai, sleeping in a pickup truck.

"Barbra and James contend they've tried to help, but that's a lame excuse," an insider insisted. "When you have $550 million between the two of you, you find a way to help."

Fortunately, Jess was able to enjoy a free meal this Thanksgiving, but last year an undercover ENQUIRER shutterbug photographed him rummaging through a garbage can for food.

Following that shocking report, a family spokesman told The ENQUIRER James, 75, had never given up on his son, despite Jess spurning all offers of help.

But since that time, Jess' dangerous situation hasn't improved. In addition to the risks of his street lifestyle, the source said his health seems to be at risk. "Jess looks even bigger than he did a year ago — and back then he weighed well over 400 pounds!" an eyewitness dished to Radar.

Medical experts who viewed the photos told Radar that Jess' obesity could lead to premature death. "While his celebrity family was nowhere in sight, at least on Thanksgiving he was surrounded by his homeless friends," added the eyewitness.
