Tyler Perry's $9.6 million Hollywood Hills home

Why is it that people can't just be satisfied with what they have? Why is it that people always have to "keep up with the Jones's?" Christians shouldn't be acting like this. When is EXCESS, really EXCESS? Please find ways to use your position and notoriety to bring people to Jesus and not serve the flesh. I've read your newsletters and I"ve seen your stuff on TV and on Oprah, etc. I'd like you to make the Lord your King as well as your Saviour. Humble, serving attitude. How in the Lord's name does a nine point six million dollar house serve GOD? I'll tell you, it doesn't. Noone needs a nine point six million dollar house. NOONE. This is too much. period. Hollywood and the flesh have finally caught up with Tyler Perry.

TYLER PERRY THREATENS HIS CRITICS ON TBS.COM'S MESSAGE BOARD WITH FBI INVESTIGATIONS BACKED BY TURNER BROADCASTING.

He goes by the name of BORN2WIN and has intimidated many posters off the board with his threats. One particular poster named SILKO amongst others is threatened with an FBI investigation which proposes to search the poster's IP address to get his personal information and prosecute. Although the poster, Silko has simply criticized the show as has many others including a few of his fans.

Isn't this a violation of the 1st Amendment? I've heard of bad reactions to criticism, but this man should be stopped. How can I save Silko and the rest of these posters from Perry's billion-dollar wrath?

Has anyone visited TBS.com message board? Tyler Perry, under the disguise of BORN2WIN is attacking posters of the board with threats and finally attacks some of our favorites, VH1, Flava-Flav and all the wonderful girls on that excellent show of yours.

For instance, you mention flav-flav is funny. I certainly, think Flava Flav is disgusting, and that is under statement.
Instead of this pervert trying to help improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. Or committing himself to the intellectual development of youth and the economic empowerment of the African American community based on the following precepts: respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity, this fool is adding on to black bad statistics. And what do black folk do, we sit right there and watch this show make a fool out of us, bring a dispicable imagine to our culture about us as black women and black men ( and we have a nerve to call this entertainment) these young women cat fighting, cussing, having no intergrity, back stabding, guttery acting, Low class living, all for what? just to get 3months of fame, a *** fix, and be the next flava flav's ****?
And what is up with that big ole clock around his neck??? AND he is still late everywhere he goes. This dude is horriffic and his behavior, (ill leave that to your imagination of what I want to say).
. Usually, I DO NOT call anyone ugly but flava, my God Lord *****. He is beyond what the normal eyes can handle. With his behavior not helping, he looks like a walking germ that needs to be sprayed with lysol. And this is how he protrays us as women? sluttly? What is the difference between his show and these degrading music videos? nothing. And as women, is this who we are? We are showing the world this is how black woman act? IS This our rich legacy as black women? We have no class, we are ghetto, we are gold-diggin, we are not ladies of character, we hurt whomever, all so flav can by me gucci, that really VH1 paid for? I think NOT!
AND What I really don't understand is , How people can call HOP, or comedians dressing up in a wig/dress, or grandma characters a disgrace to the balck race, and terrible and look at flava flav and see nothing wrong with it, nor say A word about this false image of who we are as Queens.

I am shocked at the first comment. People who are mega millionaires spend much more on their homes than what Tyler spent on this home. And so what if it is what he wants, his money bought it. Opra Denzel, and Will Smith live in much more elaborate homes. And so far as being a Christian have you not seen the homes of preachers who are pastors of Mega churches. Lastly as a Christian God wants us to have life and have it more abundantly, no good thing will he keep from us. We are blessed to be a blessing. I know that Tyler is a very giving person and he has not always had it to give. So stop being so judgmental about what God has blessed this man to do.
