House Of Horrors! Hundreds Of Snakes Rescued From Cramped Home

Hundreds of animals crammed into a home in Allentown, Pa. were rescued on Thursday morning. The owners of the animals are the same couple who kept nearly 100 other wild creatures under similar conditions nearby. A neighbor exclusively told RadarOnline.com about the house of horrors!

“It was worse than a horror movie. I’m petrified of snakes and they had a zoo from what I saw this morning,” a neighbor exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “I literally threw up when they walked out with countless crates and all you could hear was hissing.

At least 240 animals were rescued from the second home, according to the Allentown Morning Call, including more than 100 snakes, several alligators, five tortoises, two skunks, a dozen ferrets and a half dozen guinea pigs.

Several dead animals were also found.

“There’s a lot of animal feces in every room,” Robin Royer, zoning and code enforcement officer for Upper Hanover Township, told the paper. “It’s deplorable.”

Snakes

The raid comes just days after a major animal rescue in nearby Lehigh County. In that case, exotic animals were also found in poor health, crammed into a home.

The same couple is accused of both cases. They have not been identified by authorities because charges have not been filed, but officials promise they are coming. That’s just fine with neighbors.

“The owners kept to themselves. Police asked neighbors to report any large snake sightings before they started packing up,”Michelle Horrocks told RadarOnline.com. “I hope they lock them the f–– up.”
